became famous as the lead actor in "Saturday night Live". He later
appeared on numerous big-screen comedies like Elf,' Anchorman' and ‘Talladega
Nights. In 1967, in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell began his comedy career as
an actor in the improv group from Los Angeles known as the Groundlings. After
his successful seven-year tenure as a part of Saturday Night Live, he became
one of the movie industry's top comedic drawcards with off-color successes such
as Old School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell
was also a co-founder of the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed his
success as a voice actor in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John
William Ferrell, born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the
oldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell),
but he wasn't the class clown while he was at University High School. Studious
and somewhat quiet, Ferrell made his mark on the football pitch, where he set
an academic record for the highest number of field goals he scored. Even within
the more relaxed living space of his suburban residence, Ferrell displayed
little of the hilarious, outrageous outbursts that would later help to define
his career. "Very even-tempered, and very easygoing," his mother
recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You have any memories of those
Matchbox cars?" Will be arranging his Matchbox cars by himself and be
completely content. You'd askhim "Do you want to go to Disneyland this
morning?" or "You want your cars lined up?" He'd have to think
about it. Ferrell wasn't a perfect straight man but that's not to say he was
not. One of Ferrell's comedy talent was displayed every morning at high school
when Ferrell disguised himself in order to announce the events of the day over
the PA system. Ferrell graduated from the University of Southern California,
Los Angeles in 1986. He joined Delta Tau fraternity, and was pursuing a degree
in sports journalism.
