Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress known for her performance as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as the motion capture and voice work for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. During her youth, she competed in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by making appearances on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, then went on to play guest starring roles on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March to November 2007, she played the recurring role of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap drama General Hospital. Her other credits in theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also was an episode regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on the 7th of December in 2012. Wersching is set to play the Borg queen in the Star Trek The Second Season of Picard in September 2021.
