Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accounting professional as well as William Kendrick (a teacher).
She has an older brother, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who also has acted. She is
from English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role as "Dinah" in
"High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for an Tony
Award (second youngest ever) and a Drama Desk Award, and an award called a Fany
Award (best actress featured in the musical). Her amazing performance won her
