Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation born October 1 1969) is an American actor, comedian, musician, and writer. He was a performer, comedian and host of Late World with Zach (VH1) Galifianakis has starred in films including The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010), The Campaign (2012), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) and Masterminds (2016). He also voiced characters for animated films like Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Missing Link (2019), and Ron's Gone Missing (2021). Galifianakis is currently hosting of the talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis was a star in the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis was a native of Wilkesboro, North Carolina on October 1 in 1969. His mother is of Scottish-Irish and English descent, while his paternal grandparents were Greek immigrants from Crete. He was baptized according to the Greek Orthodox faith of his father. He is the father of Merritt, a younger sister and Greg, a brother older than him. His cousin is Washington Post cartoonist Nick Galifianakis, while his uncle, who is also known as Nick Galifianakis, is a politician. Galifianakis went to Wilkes Central High School. He then attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. He was an operator of a radio station at an access station that was public at college. In 1991, he was a teacher in the class of waltz and got to know Mary J. Blige. Following his TV debut Boston Common, Galifianakis joined Saturday Night Live for two weeks. Galifianakis has stated that he worked on Saturday Night Live for two weeks. Britney Spears was the host on one of those weeks. He wrote a sketch.
